Knowledge Management and Enterprise SearchA new module was deployed on the National Transportation Product Evaluation Program (NTPEP) DataMine web application, namely the Unique, Patented, and Proprietary (UP3) module. AASHTO DataMine is an online repository of product evaluation data and audit reports that helps the Departments of Transportation (DOTs) in selecting the pre-approved products and engineering firms for highway construction projects.
The UP3 module replaces the existing AASHTO Product Evaluation List (APEL) website and provides a repository of findings from the evaluation and testing of new, innovative, and proprietary engineered transportation products and materials. Through this module, users may submit applications for testing their products under the relevant product category. These categories include AASHTO Evaluated Products, State Evaluated Products, and State Proprietary Products.
